Joseph gained a place on the Music and Business BTEC sixth form course at Braeburn International School Arusha. He was sponsored by Braeburn and Umoja through his sixth form and in this time we saw a real commitment to service. Joseph shared his music skills with students in the primary school, every day, encouraging and supporting them to practice their violin. He also set up a social enterprise using scrap material and items bought from our second hand clothes markets to turn into new fashionable items. He called his new business ‘Xtreme Designs’ and he kept the company going whilst he was away. We fund raised his university place at ALU in Mauritius so that he could study Enterprise. He has now completed his degree and has been offered his first job in Mauritius.
